Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 Tsp Salt or as per Taste

Recipe Notes

To prepare rice you may follow these simple steps: 

  • Take rice and wash the rice thoroughly 
  • Take a pan/ kadhai/ wok and place it on flame.
  • Add water to the utensil and bring it to a boil. 
  • Now, to it, add salt and add the rinsed rice. 
  • Stir properly and cover with a lid.
  • Bring it to a boil and then let rice boil on simmer for approximately the next 15 minutes or until water is completely absorbed.
  • Take off the flame and let it rest for 4 to 5 minutes to steam cook.

 

Your rice is ready to be served. Serve hot with Rajma, Chhole, Chicken Curry, Manchurian, or Kadhi.
